• Assignment Data: Files and rubrics for grading
• Usage Data: Interaction logs and preferences
• Payment Info: Subscription status (via Stripe)
• Technical Info: Device, browser, and IP address (for analytics/security)

Security

We use TLS for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Data access is role-restricted and monitored.

Retention Policy

Files are deleted after 7 days unless you choose to keep them. Account and billing data are retained as required by law.

International Users

We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and FERPA. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for data transfers to the U.S.

FERPA & Educational Data

We never contact students. Educators are responsible for obtaining student data consent under FERPA or equivalent laws.

You may access, delete, or correct your personal data as allowed by law. We honor GDPR/CCPA rights where applicable.
